  • We can accommodate up to 140 guests.

  • The majority of our clients choose to use our main hall - the sanctuary - for both their ceremony and reception. We accomplish this by “flipping” the space between ceremony and reception. Often, this only takes 15 minutes and is accomplished while your guests are enjoying a drink at the bar.

    For couples that would prefer fully separate spaces, our cocktail lounge can seat up to 80 guests for a seated dinner.

  • We are located in Belleville, Ontario, 2 hours from Toronto and 2.5 hours from Ottawa, right on the 401 corridor. We are also just minutes from Prince Edward County and wine country, which makes our venue an ideal location for a destination weekend wedding.

  • Yes! We are happy to make recommendations where needed.

  • Because Venue 1906 is located in downtown Belleville, there is ample parking available for guests in nearby municipal lots and on surrounding streets within a short walking distance of the venue.

    We also have a limited on-site parking area at the rear of the building, which we recommend reserving for vendors and guests requiring accessible parking.

    Please note that a small number of spaces in this lot are reserved for our neighbouring business, Wind Rose Destinations, and are clearly marked with signage. These spaces must remain available for their clients.

  • Yes! All full wedding day bookings include 2 hours of access to the building the day before. This is a great opportunity to decorate the space and run through your wedding ceremony. Additional time to host a rehearsal dinner can be added if desired.

  • We LOVE winter weddings! Because Venue 1906 is a fully indoor venue, our space is perfect for your winter celebration. In fact, we offer a little discount for weddings booked from November-April.

  • We love bar customizations. We encourage our clients to choose their preferred beer, wine, and spirits to be served at the bar. We can also provide signature cocktails when requested.

  • Our set up and tear down service includes the set up and tear down of all venue-owned items, such as tables, chairs, linens, dinnerware, and decor. The bulk of your set up will be completed for your access the day before so you can add your additional personal touches and decor items.

    At the end of the night, you’ll pack up your decor, and we’ll take care of everything else.
